Little Things

29 Feb

We Take the little things for granted. If we stopped and thought why things actually happened, Why God does things for us we would be better people. Just because your phone died or computer broke does not meant God hates you, he only wants you to pay more attention to what He has in store for you. God loves you so much and he gives you so much. Just take a step back and look at what you have. You are all so very blessed. You do not need riches to be happy, but God’s love to be happy. What is the point to life if you have everything you desire already? We should be striving for Heaven to be our greatest desire not for the latest edition of the iPhone or media player. How are we suppose to live our lives for Christ when we have all of these distractions in our lives? What good is it that we continue to deny God and make Sports, electronics, people our “gods”? We need to be thankful for everything in which God has given us and give thanks to him everyday! May God grant you the ability to feel his love so that you may give your love to others who truly need it as well as the ability to realize how blessed you are and to give thanks to God and to do everything in His name.

May God grant you the ability….

There I lies the paradox of today’s life. I have many abilities, all of which were granted by God. So why is the ability to recognize Him, so hard?

It is hard to recognize him because we spend to much time away from him. If we actually sat back and appreciated all of our blessings and notice each little thing that happens, you will be able to find Him more easily. We focus too much on the future and past and not enough on the present time which causes us to get caught up in the material world and then we put Christ on the “back burner.” When we look at the present and realize how blessed we are to have the things we have, then is when you start to recognize God. That will start to build your faith and you will be able to recognize God more often. Appreciate all the good things and great opportunities and all the people who help you in your life, because it is God aiding you towards Holiness. The ability to recognize God is right in front of you. You must open your heart more (even if you think you have given all you have, there is always more room for God.) You have to practice your abilities/talents/gifts because if you do not, than you will not be good at them. We all have the ability to recognize God, some more than others. But how we truly recognize God is up to how much we truly want to recognize Him. I hope this helps. God Bless.
